호수교회는 한국인을 중심으로 한 다민족 교회이며 설교를 비롯한 모든 순서가 한국어와 영어로 동시에 진행됩니다. 김철규 목사는 보스톤에서 공부하는 동안 많은 교회들이 크게 축소되거나 아예 사라지는 모습을 많이 목격했습니다. 그런 모습은 미국인 교회나 한인 교회나 마찬가지였습니다. 하지만 신기하게도 다민족 교회들은 계속 성장하면서 복음과 하나님 나라에 크게 기여하고 있었습니다.
호수교회가 처음부터 다민족 교회를 지향한 것은 아닙니다. 그러나 찾아온 소수의 영어권 성도들에게도 함께 예배드릴 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 노력하다 보니 현재와 같은 모습이 되었습니다.
호수교회는 찬양과 기도, 말씀과 결단이 조화롭게 균형을 맞춘 예배를 드립니다. 하나님을 기뻐하며 그 은혜를 함께 나누는 축복과 기쁨의 공간입니다!
Lake Church is a multi-ethnic congregation centered around the Korean community, with all parts of the service—including the sermon—conducted simultaneously in Korean and English.
Pastor Ryan Kim, during his time studying in Boston, witnessed many churches either drastically shrinking or disappearing altogether. This was true for both American and Korean congregations. However, interestingly, multi-ethnic churches continued to grow and made significant contributions to the gospel and the Kingdom of God.
Lake Church did not originally aim to become a multi-ethnic church. But as a few English-speaking members began to attend, the church made efforts to provide a space where they, too, could worship together. That effort naturally shaped the church into what it is today.
Lake Church offers a worship service that balances praise, prayer, the Word, and commitment. It is a place of joy and blessing, delighting in God and sharing in His grace together!

Music Concerts
매주 토요일 저녁에 모여 함께 식사하고 성경적인 세계관으로 세상을 바라보는 방법을 배웁니다. 호수교회에 출석하지 않는 학생들도 함께 초대되고 찾아옵니다. 아이들은 함께 모여 웃고 떠들며 스트레스를 풀고, 말씀과 실천 방식을 배우며 건강하게 성장합니다.
Every Saturday evening, we gather to share a meal and learn how to view the world through a biblical worldview. Students who do not attend Lake Church are also invited and come to join us. The youth gather together, laugh and chat, relieving their stress, and grow in a healthy way as they learn the Word and how to put it into practice.

We regularly host concerts that offer rest and restoration for weary hearts through the beauty of music and praise—precious gifts from God. It is our joy to create spaces where souls are uplifted and God's presence is felt through every note and melody.
섬김과 위로의 손길 – 호수교회 돌봄 사역
호수교회는 도움이 정기적으로 필요한 독거 어르신들을 찾아가 식사를 전달하고, 집안 청소와 다양한 실질적인 도움을 드리며 따뜻한 말벗이 되어드리는 사역을 이어가고 있습니다.
또한, 지역 너싱홈을 방문하여 아름다운 음악과 찬양으로 어르신들의 마음에 하나님의 위로와 기쁨을 전하고 있습니다.
Serving with Compassion
At Lake Church Katy, we are committed to caring for elderly individuals in our community who are in regular need of support. We visit their homes to deliver meals, offer help with cleaning and daily needs, and provide companionship.
We also extend our ministry to local nursing homes, sharing the gift of beautiful music and worship to bring comfort, joy, and the presence of God's love to the residents.
