영적 전쟁의 한 가운데 We are living in the midst of a spiritual battle.

러시아가 우크라이나와의 전쟁에서 사용하는 무기들, 특히 미사일과 드론 부품 90퍼센트가 일본산이라고 합니다. 물론 일본이 러시아에 무기를 팔지는 않습니다. 그러나 수없이 많은 러시아 스파이들이 일본에 잠입해서 러시아 국영 항공사를 통해 부품들을 러시아로 들여갑니다. 평범한 우리들은 그저 평화로운 세상이라 생각할 수 있지만, 소리 없는 전쟁은 끊임 없이 이어지고 있습니다.
멀리서 일어나는 이야기입니까? 보이지 않는 싸움은 바로 우리의 피부와 눈, 코과 입에서도 끊임 없이 이어집니다. 우리의 몸을 삼키려는 수많은 세균들과 그에 맞서 싸우는 우리 몸의 면역체들 간의 싸움입니다. 우리를 위해 열심히 싸워주는 그 면역체들 덕분에 우리는 건강을 유지합니다. 그 면역체계를 강하게 지켜야 합니다.
보이지 않는 싸움은 영적인 세계에도 늘 지속됩니다. 사탄은 끊임없이 우리의 믿음을 흔들고, 하나님에게서 멀어지게 하며, 자신의 영향력 아래로 끌어들이려 합니다. 반면 하나님께서는 성령을 통해 우리를 보호하시고, 말씀과 기도, 그리고 믿음으로 굳게 서도록 우리를 도우십니다. 우리가 영적 전쟁의 한 가운데 있음을 잊지 맙시다.
The war between Russia and Ukraine reminds us that modern warfare is not fought only with tanks and missiles. Reports have shown that some Russian missiles and drones contain commercially available electronic components that have reached Russia through complex international supply chains, despite sanctions and export controls. While most people go about their daily lives assuming the world is at peace, a silent war continues behind the scenes.
That may seem like a distant reality, but invisible battles are taking place much closer to home. Every day, countless bacteria and viruses attempt to enter our bodies through our skin, eyes, nose, and mouth. At the same time, our immune system works tirelessly to protect us. Because of this unseen battle, we are able to remain healthy. That is why we nourish our bodies with good food, get adequate rest, exercise regularly, and practice good hygiene to keep our immune system strong.
An even greater unseen battle is taking place in the spiritual realm. Satan is constantly seeking to shake our faith, draw us away from God, and bring us under his influence. But God protects us through the Holy Spirit and strengthens us through His Word, prayer, and faith so that we may stand firm.
Let us never forget that we are living in the midst of a spiritual battle. Therefore, let us remain spiritually alert, put on the whole armor of God, and stand firm in the victory that Christ has already won for us.
