세상을 본받지 않으려면 어떻게 해야 합니까?

먼저 세상은 어떤 식으로 작동합니까? 세상은 어떤 방식으로 우리를 유혹합니까?

세상은 우리에게 이렇게 말합니다:

먼저 나의 욕심을 채우고, 필요하다면 하나님을 부정하며, 원하는 것을 얻기 위해 영혼을 파는 것도 나쁘지 않다고 말합니다. 그게 세상의 방식입니다.

그게 바로 사탄이 예수님을 시험한 패턴입니다.

세상을 따르지 않으려면 어떻게 합니까?

예수님께서 반응하신

방식 그대로 하면 됩니다. 사탄의 시험을 말씀으로 물리칩니다. 내 언어, 내 지혜가 아니라 하나님의 말씀으로 물리칩니다.

그러려면 말씀을 열심히 읽고, 자꾸 가까이 해야 합니다. 부지런히 말씀을 묵상하고 암송해야 합니다.

그래야 때에 따라 상황에 맞는 적절한 방식으로 사탄을 물리칠 수 있습니다.

말씀에 빠져 드십시오!

How can we avoid conforming to the world?

Or first, how does the world actually operate? In what ways does it tempt us?

The world tells us this:

“Satisfy your desires first. If necessary, deny God. It's okay to sell your soul if that’s what it takes to get what you want.”

That is the way of the world. And that is exactly the same pattern Satan used when he tempted Jesus.

So how can we resist the world?

By responding exactly the way Jesus did—we fight Satan’s temptations with the Word of God. Not with our own words or wisdom, but with God’s Word.

To do that, we must read the Word diligently and stay close to it. We need to meditate on it and memorize it consistently.

Only then will we be able to resist Satan with the right Word at the right time, in the right way.
